Tue Nov 18 51 Downloads Ladder FFA/Solo | I'm relatively new to ffa but have "fallen in love" with it ever since I read Nooblex's guide on wcreplays and began playing it a bit myself, watching reps off this site nearly every day since. Anyway this is my first replay post and here's the cast:
orange, my unprovoked cross-map suicider (DR/DK/Lich). Makes all the use of charm he can, decent with his nukes and silence usage.
 me (teal). I draw orc and choose FS/TC/SH, looking to make use of FS' imba scouting and expo-harasing abilities via wolves.
purple, tower and expo-massing micro-newb who nevertheless understands hu well enough to make use of their strengths (siege/tower/expo)
green, leaves immediately.
I spawn at 6:30 and purple at 6, with green at top-right and orange at top-left. I creep in front of mine and purple's bases, seeing his late-unit-early-tower build and decide not to harass, which makes the rest of the game possible. I try and expo to my left but orange shuts me down, our micro about equal but with superior units. I'm expoless till my first mine goes down, fighting or harassing orange throughout, which I consider the logical consequence of his non-sense aggression with me. Purple reads the situation and acts accordingly, later leaving only us two (no use of PM here as you'll see). Lower-caliber game aside, surely a worthwhile ending and decent play/strategy on my part if not my opponents at times. Comments (14) |

Orks get the best of undeads as usual in this game. I take out mooks and chappy nearly takes out litron. One interesting thing to note is chappys tower creeping, I thought it was pretty smart and might try it myself. After the game is on for a long while I find out that chappy is better microer than a rusty ol' flyorc. So I do my best to out-play him strategically instead of micro-wise.
